A Cohort Analysis of Food Expenditure Away From Home in Turkey

In this study, the expenditures of food away from home households are examined using Household Consumption Expenditure Survey, which was conducted by Turkish Institute Statistics 2002 to 2018. We adopt Dependent Double Hurdle model with incorporation age, period, and cohort effects impact socio-demographic variables. Analysis results reveal that age significant in both participation consumption on expenditure household. The findings suggest for younger cohorts rises faster older cohorts. elasticity groups is increasing youngest group oldest largest group. show decisions significantly affected income demographic characteristics Turkey.
